We’re an agency. We refuse to run like one. We run marketing for elective aesthetics practices: cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics and aesthetic medicine.
One director makes your films, builds and buys your ads, and runs the AI back office that reports which booked patients came from which piece. 28 years of film craft, pointed at the moment a stranger decides to trust a doctor they've never met.
See what we run →What followed was a long-term coma and a recovery that took everything the medical team around me had. I came out the other side with something most people in this industry don't have: a firsthand understanding of what it means to place your life in someone else's hands, and the weight of the practitioners who carry that responsibility every day.
That experience never left me. It followed me through 28 years in global cinema, through directing and producing 50+ projects across London, Berlin, New York, and LA, through a Top 8 worldwide script ranking at Slamdance.
And everywhere I went, I kept seeing the same thing.
The practitioners performing daily miracles, the cosmetic dentists and the orthodontists, were almost always represented by third-rate marketing that had no idea what it was working with. Their clinical excellence was invisible. Their digital presence was generic. And the patients they were built to serve were choosing someone else at the moment of decision.
That gap became impossible to ignore.
I founded Cakesmash Media to close it.
Kyle Cassie, Founder & Creative Director
28 years in film and global commercial production. Director and producer on 50+ projects across London, Berlin, New York, and LA. Slamdance Top 8 dramatic scripts, worldwide. Award-winning director-producer. Every one of those is a fact you can check in about a minute, which is the point: most agencies ask you to trust an adjective.
That same standard now applies to every frame we shoot and every campaign we deploy.
Most agencies reference great cinema. We've made it. That operating standard now belongs to medical marketing.
World-class practitioners performing aesthetic miracles daily are routinely represented by stock photography, low-production video, and copy that could belong to anyone. To a high-net-worth patient evaluating their options, this doesn't just look cheap, it actively triggers doubt at the exact moment they're deciding.
This isn't a branding problem. It's a revenue problem.
Patients seeking elite aesthetic transformations don't buy services. They buy authority. When your digital first impression doesn't match the caliber of your physical care, you aren't just losing visibility. You're losing the high-ticket cases your expertise has earned.
Cakesmash Media exists to close that gap. A director who has spent 28 years making things look like what they cost, pointed at the one moment that decides whether a patient books you or the practice down the road.
Every frame, every strategy, every deployment decision is deliberate. Nothing ships without a reason.
A published cap, not a boast. One shoot day per practice per month is the constraint, so the roster is six. When it's full, I say so.
We don't build brand awareness. We engineer market dominance at the specific moment a patient decides.
We break patterns precisely. Not loudly. The disruption is controlled, calibrated, and impossible to ignore.
We've sat on the patient's side of the table. We understand the stakes of the relationship between practitioner and patient, and we never diminish it in the work we produce.
Founder-run and done for you. No account manager, no handoff: the person you hired is the person doing the work, every month.
